Camera-less and Amazed

Today I went about a half an hour outside the city, where there wasn't any cell service, to walk around on a few of the hiking trails and dirt roads in the area. It was unbelievably beautiful! There were rollings hills, trees with beautifully intricate bark, and a small stream that I assumed was mostly runoff trickling through some rocks. However, being the genius that I am, I forgot to take my camera with me when I went! I was so mad at myself! I managed to take a few photos on my phone, but they're poor quality, so you can't really see the full beauty of everything. If I could I'd put my memory of everything here on my blog, but that would be a little gross... Memories are probably really gooey, and not very fun to look at outside of someone's head. So, moving right along, I apologize in advance for the photos that aren't as good as usual.

In this picture, you can see the path that I was walking on, and the gorgeous hills that I was seeing.

There was a swing attached to a branch with a bright yellow rope. It's hard to see in the pictures.. I should have tried to take one more close up... Anyway! The picture on the left is of the swing in between the two trees, and the picture on the right is farther away of a couple on the swing (They're the black dots more to the left in the photo).  A lot of the grasses in between and around the trees was packed down, and a few people who walked by me said that it was probably some kind of herd that had come here to lay down for a bit.

This is some of the really intricate looking bark that covered all of the trees in the area. I would have taken some home with me if it didn't hurt the tree!

This is the little trickling stream that I was talking about! These photos don't do it justice! It was extremely beautiful in person.
