My Favorite Earrings

I really like earrings, but I have a hard time finding earrings that I like that actually match things that I wear. Which basically means that I own a ton of earrings but I only wear a select few of them...

This pair seriously catches some looks! They're probably the most "extreme" pair that I own.

I'm not entirely sure what they're made of because they're extremely lightweight, but they reflect almost every color depending on the angle that you're looking. If I'm wearing my hair up I'll wear these earrings, and people definitely notice them.

The only downside is that some people probably think I'm wearing earrings that don't match because they only see them from one angle... Haha But aside from that I love this pair of earrings.

This is the pair of earrings that I wear the most often. They're a soft, dusty pink with little pearls in the center. There are very few things I wear that these don't match! They're really delicate looking even though they are really large for floral earrings, and they add to an outfit rather than taking all of the attention like that first pair of earrings.

Lastly, my go-to earrings for when I'm in a rush or want a little bit of a change from the first two pairs, are these. They're in every color that I wear (which is super convenient) so I don't have to put any thought into which pair to put on. They're much smaller than they look in this photo, so they're really comfortable to wear.

The only downside with these is that, because they're predominantly a type of metal, they can be really cold.

All of the earrings that I talked about in this post are from Charming Charlie.

My Favorite Movies on Netflix

I think this movie is the least well known out of all of the ones that I've chosen for this list. The Matchbreaker is an easy to watch Rom-Com with some hilarious actors perfectly portraying some really amazing characters. Although I was apprehensive about the plot of the movie (based on the title), after watching it I was really happy to watch it again and again and again. For some reason, there's something awesome about watching someone try to fix relationships that he broke in the first place (that's kind of a spoiler... but not too big). If you want something lighthearted that doesn't take a lot of focus to follow, be sure to watch this movie.

It's Finding Dory. This movie is everyone's favorite on Netflix.

I started off by just watching the trailer for The Fundamentals of Caring and I was really interested in the characters. After actually watching the movie I wished that I had watched it sooner! The characters, although in more specific/dire situations, are really easy to relate to. Their senses of humor throughout the film air on the darker side, but overall the film is something that will make you laugh. If you've been holding off watching it, then hold off no further! There's no better feel good film than this one.

To The Bone only recently went up on Netflix, however I continue to go back and watch it over and over. This movie is not for the faint of heart, but if you really want your heart to be filled with a lot of emotions all at once then you'll really like this movie. It's extremely honest, in a way that I don't think people usually address eating disorders. There's a messed up family dynamic, some weird romances, and some seriously sad imagery. However, it's a very clear picture of what it's like to be living with an eating disorder.

My Favorite Shows on Netflix

Death Comes to Pemberly is the show that I pull up to binge watch all in one afternoon. There's only three really lengthy episodes, so it's great to take up a whole day but not a whole week. This takes the character from Pride and Prejudice and continues their story in a hilarious but suspenseful way. Any fans of the original will be fans of this continuation. If I was asked to pick something for a girl's night in, I would for sure pick this show.

I was first introduced to The Paradise by my mom, and it quickly became my favorite. Whenever I need a comforting thing to watch for several days, I turn this on. There's something really relatable about the characters. There's friendships and courtships, espionage and betrayals, as well as some really BEAUTIFUL costumes and sets that really set the scenes perfectly. This show will keep you on your toes and keep your attention on the screen. No matter how many times I watch it I never get sick of it! There's always something new that I didn't notice before, which just makes it more fun to watch.

I really loved this show. For some reason, even though I'm not from England and I've never been there, there's something so interesting to me about their government. Especially their royalty! There was such a focus on the people themselves and their planning and reasoning, and it was really amazing to get to watch Elizabeth fit into her role so perfectly. This is definitely a must-watch show!

Some Life Bits

Since my last post, I took about a week off from blogging. I needed some time to work out everything that's been going on and to focus.

At the moment things have mostly settled down, which is really great. I got completely moved into the place for July, which I owe to my coworker who helped me move. In my old apartment, I ripped the paint off in 4 or 5 places, turned in my keys, and said good riddance. I stayed up until about midnight that night unpacking and then repacking to drive home the next morning.

I wasn't chosen for Jury Duty, they never even got to my number so I didn't have to be interviewed or anything. At first I thought that was really great because I'd get a week long break, but that wasn't how it worked out. As mentioned in my last post, my parents are moving. While I was there for that week, I had to pack up everything of mine in the house so that it can go into storage until I'm able to settle somewhere and take it all.

The weirdest thing is driving away from a home knowing that you're not going to come back to it. The next time I'm in my hometown my parents will have moved to a new house that, at this point, they haven't found yet.

I feel very out of place at the moment, because everything is so up in the air. I don't really feel like I have a firm footing yet, but I'm hoping it will come soon.

I have a few east posts headed your way in the next few weeks so that I can continue to have a bit of a breather.

I'll see you on Thursday
