June and July 2017 Overviews

This isn't going to be a super long update since I included a lot of the June things in previous posts.

When I posted back on July 11, I was still in the midst of a whole bunch of stuff. When I said that things had settled down in that post, they were really only settled for a little while.

I've since had an emergency visit with my optometrist who explained that my eyes were reacting to my contact solution and I would need to go back to wearing my glasses for a while. I then had to get used to using a different kind of contact solution, and so far it doesn't seem to be bothering my eyes at all.

I also met up with the surgeon from getting my gall bladder out, and I had to go in for a scope this past Monday (I'll be doing a post about it later). I haven't gotten the results back from it yet, which is kind of nerve wracking. I feel like I've had a whole bunch of medical issues all at once!

On the plus side, I've smuggled my guinea pigs up to college with me. Technically speaking they're not allowed in my apartment... Haha I'm also going to be doing a post about that this week, so be sure to check back on Thursday.

Overall, I'm feeling like I have a better handle on everything than I did before even though I still have a million and a half things going on. I actually moved into my new place this morning, and it's really really amazing to be able to actually move in and get settled and know that I won'e be moving again for a long time.

I have some work things to update you on as well, so that'll potentially be something to look forward to later this month.

When it comes to my relationships, someone that I work with actually asked me out, and we had an amazing time going to see the new spiderman movie and getting food. He was gone this past week for a mini vacation, but even before he got back he was starting to plan another date! I'm not entirely sure where it'll go at this point, but I'm really excited to find out.

July was filled with a lot of planning and sorting out life, as well as a ton of work. I'm glad to have been able to stay for July, as it turns out, because I was able to keep working and saving up for this upcoming school year.

Welp, this wasn't a particularly exciting overview of what's been going on in my life, but I guess it'll have to do!

I'll see you on Thursday
